The Statue of LIberty has been on my bucket list for over 25 years...FINALLY!--my dream came true in May, 2011.
The America we live in today is not the same America where I grew up...the location is the same, but not much else is the same. I still love my country, but I hate what some of the leaders across the political and justice systems have done. I believe that dark clouds truly are on the horizon for us unless we humble ourselves before Almighty God and fall to our knees in prayer.

With July 4th approaching I went to spend the holiday with relatives in New York. As an immigrant to this great country; this picture stood out to me and reminded me of the first set of immigrants in the past arriving on boats, to freedom and new beginnings.
Born and raised in the Caribbean island of Grenada, I moved to New York City right after my 21st birthday. After a few years there I moved to Houston. It was the United States where I really discovered the passion I had for photography. It is something I love and enjoy.
